Say hello to Anna, our graphic design intern! She has been with the Social Assurance team since 2019, and is currently working remotely with her new cat, Apollo. Learn more about her below.
What is your role at Social Assurance and what do you like most about your job?
“I help create graphics for clients and assist in various creative team duties. These can range from creating fun promotional animations to making illustrations for blogs. My favorite part about my job is that it’s always fluctuating. I love having a variety of tasks throughout the week!“
How do you stay up on current trends in the marketing and social media world?
“I look at what other designers are posting on websites like Dribbble, Behance, or LottieFiles. I get loads of inspiration from seeing what other more seasoned designers are creating.“
What’s your earliest memory of banking/going to the bank or credit union?
“My mom helped me open my first savings account when I was six. She would double the amount of money I saved in order to teach me the joys and importance of saving.“
What are you passionate about?
“Personally, I am slowly amassing an army of plants on my windowsill. Since entering college, I’ve been a proud parent of several different succulents. I only plan on growing my collection.
Professionally, I really love creating animations. Adding motion to still graphics adds a new level to storytelling and can make anything more engaging.“
What do you think will be the biggest marketing or social media trend to hit the financial industry in 2020?
“With the impact of the coronavirus across America, I would expect to see several local financial institutions moving to mobile-first banking. Reliable and user friendly mobile apps have never been more essential. “
