Altra Federal Credit Union decided to pivot its in-person tasting event to a virtual fundraiser as a great way to spark its community and benefit the Great Rivers United Way. For Raise Your Glass at Home, Altra Federal Credit Union added several new elements including an online silent auction, virtual bottle pull and fan voting for area musicians.
This event had two hosts that transitioned between recorded elements, including restaurant pairings and music. The top five vote recipients for the songs were played during the 45-minute live portion of the show. The participation was so great by area musicians that Altra Federal Credit Union added an after-party element.
At the end of the event, Altra Federal Credit Union doubled its fundraising efforts compared to the in-person event of 2019!
