Stoneham Bank sparked its community with a Small Business Spotlight initiative led by its VP, Marketing Director, Lauren Constantine in partnership with Pannos Marketing. It asked community members to nominate their favorite local small business for a chance to receive a $2,500 grant from the bank. The digital campaign ran from April 1 through April 30, 2020 and saw 260 individual nominations (96 different businesses) with 65% of the businesses nominated being non-customers.
Stoneham Bank’s initial goal was to award one business the grant, but due to the outpouring of nominations, management decided to award the top three businesses a grant.
