About Ben

Ben Pankonin’s grasp of technology, marketing and regulatory requirements in financial services have made him a respected partner and thought leader in the financial space.

He frequently shares insights with the more than 1,000 financial institutions that utilize Social Assurance software. Prior to founding Social Assurance with Matt Secoske, Ben led business development efforts for hyper growth on one of Inc. 500 List of Fastest Growing Companies based in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Outside of banking, Ben consults with other entrepreneurs and businesses to help them grow (e.g., software companies, datacenters, eCommerce and healthcare organizations). He was selected as a 2012 Pipeline Entrepreneur Fellow with support from the Kauffman Foundation and was a finalist for the region’s Product of the Year. Ben additionally serves on advisory boards for a handful of startup technology companies.

Ben’s leadership in enterprise technology has been featured in publications such as: The Financial Brand, CRN Magazine, Forward Banker, Bank Director, Silicon Prairie News and the Midlands Business Journal. He is frequently sourced by publications as an expert on the use of technology in the enterprise.

He studied Computer Science and Business Administration at Nebraska Wesleyan University and currently lives in Lincoln, Nebraska.
