  1. Don’t treat your Linkedin page like an extension of your website’s About page, it is a stand-alone marketing tool. Talk to your audience just like you would with any other marketing tool.
  2. Encourage your customers to participate and engage with your page! Participating in groups that are relevant to your company and industry is important. It is also a natural segway to eventually distribute your content to them.

If only we had a hen that generated fee income. But many of us don’t find fun ways to talk about the fee revenue we have.

  1. Be transparent about fees when they relate to your content.
  2. Talk about your products that make life easier for your customers.
  3. Focus on the benefits and make sure they can find the disclosure with one click.

  1. Facebook Ad Tool

This tool allows you to upload your ad image to determine if it meets Facebook’s text specifications. And if it does, it lets you know what kind of reach you may have based on the amount of text. A good rule of thumb: less than 20% text and Facebook will give it a green light.

  2. Canva.com

This website is wonderful for creating content and images. It’s free to use (especially if you upload your own images), but it also gives low-cost options for purchasing one-time use images. There are a lot of options here to play with your images: Text, backgrounds, overlays, and stock images.

  3. Manageflitter.com

This is a site that allows you to clean up your Twitter account. At no cost, you can see who is not following you back, who is inactive, and who does not have a Twitter profile photo. You are allowed to unfollow 100 people a day.  This is a nice tool to use quarterly, just to keep your feed active and engaged.  There are also premium tools that you can utilize as well.

  4. Picmonkey.com

A simple photo editing site to help make your images pop. With filters and editing software, you can turn a drab photo into a beautiful photo in minutes.

  5. Socialassurance.com

I mean, of course. With our app, you can schedule posts, post to multiple channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter), respond to posts, archive posts, and have access to content. Our platform provides a great way to streamline your social processes and help execute your marketing strategy.

  1. Analytics matter, even if just to remind you what to measure.
  2. It takes some money to figure out what it costs.
  3. Be timely. A PPC budget can fade into a costly endeavor.
  4. Conversions cost, but conversions pay the bills. When it gets expensive, it’s working.
  5. Make it count, send those clicks to a page that generates action.
  6. Make your value short. With only a dozen words, you don’t have any to waste.

[av_textblock size=” font_color=” color=”]

  1. Live Video’s – FB live, youtube or periscope. The ability to broadcast directly to your followers is a growing trend you want to become familiar with.
  2. Messaging Apps – The ability to directly message your consumers is a valuable resource and a great PR tool.
  3. Virtual Reality – This term has been buzzing around for awhile now and the growth possibilities in this field seem to be endless.
  4. Snapchat – Not a new trend, but definitely an advancing one. Keep an eye on this social platform as your marketing and advertising opportunities will begin to rise.
  5. Workplace Communication – With online tools such as Asana and Slack, communication in the workplace will continue to evolve and adapt.
  6. Emoji’s – Not a new phenomenon by any means, but how they are being used is evolving. If a picture is worth a thousand words… how many is an emoji worth?
  7. Online reviews – More and more customers have ample access to writing reviews and making their opinions known about a company. Although this is a useful tool that bridges the gap between provider and consumer, if not handled properly it can quickly become harmful.
  8. Augmented reality – We all know the wave that was Pokemon Go. But augmented reality extends beyond that. Snapchat filters and geotags are a great way to engage with consumers and make your presence known.
  9. Getting organic material out – While all the social media platforms begin to grow and evolve, earning attention will become much more difficult. Time to focus on what makes you stand out.
